10 Lords Leaping

Post Type

10 days down, 2 to go! 50.9 miles down, 9.1 to go!

I now have single figure miles to run and what a great feeling it is. Todays run was tough, very tough. Martin was fantastic today, he kept me going. I forgot how many banks were involved in this run and it sucks the energy out of you. We made our way to Lord Hire Centre in Durham to celebrate 10 Lords Leaping. We got our photo taken and then had to make our way back!

I heard tonight that my story has made the front page of the Durham Advertiser, how amazing is that! We’ll hopefully be getting a copy tomorrow so I can’t wait. I’m also going to buy the Durham Times tomorrow as I’m hoping to be featured in there too. I’m so grateful the media have liked my challenge and are supporting it.

I know that every pound I can raise for Percy Hedley is really appreciated, so please keep them coming! I’ve had a few more donations since being in the local media. My current fundraising total now stands at £670, I’m so happy about it I’m lost for words.

Tomorrow is the 11th day and I’m running to the pipe stall in Durham market to celebrate 11 Pipers Piping.

Thanks again,

Paul
