4 days down, 8 to go! 18.5 miles down, 41.5 to go!

I’m now a third of the way through my challenge and my legs are feeling it. I’m actually surprised as I thought I’d be ok until at least the 6th or 7th day. I could come on here and say everything is cool but that’s not me. I need to soldier on and remind myself of why I’m doing this.

Todays run was great. We had the best turnout so far and I can’t thank the lads enough. They’re all above and from left to right they are: John, Peter, Martin, Me, Brian, Paul, Lee and Stephen. The run was slightly hilly in parts and it was muddy in places. We also had a touch of rain, which I love to be honest! I sound like the weather man don’t I? Haha. Big thanks to Stephen D again for the lift home and the photo. He’s becoming a bit of an expert now. I needed to drop off my car too today because of the number of runners needing a lift home.

On the fundraising front I received some more generous donations today and I’m only a few quid from the big £500. I’m absolutely delighted with this total and dare I say ‘so far.’ Everyone has been fantastic and I just hope I’m not annoying my family and friends too much with the constant updates.

We have 5 Gold Rings tomorrow and it’s a run into Chester-le-Street to Ramsden’s Jewellers. I have one definite supporting runner but hopefully two more.
