I tweeted the other day that after completing Total Warrior, I needed a new event and fast. Well I’ve just signed up to a new one called the Newcastle Stampede and it takes place on Sunday 14th of October. It’s a unique and challenging event right on my door step and includes obstacles such as the Sheep Dip and Pond Plunge. It looks a fantastic course and is designed by the Royal Marines. It states on the official website that you will get wet and muddy, perfect!
A little bit of bad news though, Peter can’t compete because of work commitments! The good news is we’ve found a replacement and it’s my good friend Damon. He seems really up for it too, which is great.
We’re doing this event on behalf of the British Heart Foundation. Their vision couldn’t be much more ambitious, a world where people no longer die prematurely from heart disease. If you’d like more information about the BHF, please see their official site here.
If you’d like more information on the Newcastle Stampede, please see the official site here. We look forward to seeing you at the start line!
All the best,
Good luck in the Stampede Paul. I can’t do it this year but I did it last year, very enjoyable! All the best, Barry.
Thanks Barry, I’m looking forward to it. Hopefully see you next year. Paul
Saw it on the news, looked amazing and great fun! I’ll hopefully get in next year and see you there. David
Hi David, I was on the news! It was only for about three seconds but I was on, haha. Hopefully see you next year. Paul
Gutted I missed it this year! It sounded great too.
It was Phil but there’s always next year. Get training and I’ll see you there!
