inkospor Supplement Review

Post Type

I recently received a whole bunch of inkospor products to review. Readers of my blog will know that I openly don’t take supplements regularly. This opinion seems to drive companies to send me free stuff to test, haha!

I’ve listed below some of the inkospor products I tried, what their role is in your body and then what I thought.

X-Treme BCAA Powder and Capsules

BCAA stands for Branched Chain Amino Acids. This supports muscle build-up and counteracts muscle breakdown. 35% of the contractile muscle tissue is made up of BCAAs! The powder and capsules can be used before, during or after training. They can be used as a quick energy source during intense workouts.

Active Pro80 Protein Shake

This protein powder is a best seller in Germany. It’s a blend of protein powder containing whey, egg white and casein proteins. Taken after you exercise, it’s designed to provide nourishment to your body throughout the day.

Vials

I sampled three types of inkospor vials. The L-Carnitine 2000 is one of the most popular amino acid supplements used by gym goers. It boosts the body’s fat burning capabilities and is also popular amongst endurance runners to boost energy during exercise. The Multivitamin vial is a convenient alternative to taking tablets and delivers 11 vitamins in one liquid shot. I always see taking a multivitamin as ‘covering all bases.’ It’s got to be pretty impossible to be consuming all the essential vitamins and minerals you need in one day so by taking a multivitamin you’re just making sure! The Guarana vial is the equivalent to 2 cups of coffee. It’s not water-soluble though so it has a longer lasting effect than coffee. Guarana is a natural caffeine source that gives you that pre-workout boost.

Protein Bars

A very popular gym bag choice once you’ve worked out. Consuming protein (and fast digesting carbs) after exercise will prevent your body from using its own muscle tissue for energy and help encourage muscle synthesis. I sampled three flavours of inkospor protein bars. The rum truffel bar packs 23% of protein and is only 150 calories. The chocolate and vanilla crunch bars have 40% of protein.

My Thoughts

I thought the protein bars were quite tasty! The protein percentage per bar is very generous and even though it states a low sugar amount, it’s not per bar. So don’t be eating the whole bar thinking it’s only 1.7g of sugar! To be honest though, the bars are 65g and they’re quite big so I’d be tempted to cut the bar into four pieces, this will give you a cool 10% of protein. You may notice the rum truffel bar isn’t in the photo, that’s because I ate it as soon as I received the parcel, haha!

The protein power was pistachio flavour which was really, really nice! I’ve used powders in the past – that go lumpy but this one mixed really well. The vials are an excellent idea and I’ve already given my opinions on taking a multivitamin above. The Guarana vial was an instant boost and lifted my energy enormously before my workout. I was really impressed by this!

I’ve taken BCAA supplements in the past and found they really helped me with muscle development. The blood orange powder from inkospor was really tasty. I’ve never taken capsule form before and I think I actually prefer this method. If you’re wanting maximum results from your gym workouts then BCAA needs to be near the top of your supplement list.

Have you tried inkospor products before?

  1. Wow, pistachio flavoured protein powder isn’t something I’ve come across before. I’m sure it would taste great with some citrus flavours as well! The vials seem to be popular at the moment as well, with a lot of people responding the same way as you – the industry may be about to receive an energised boost in its product line!

  2. I saw inkospor at body power in may, I think it was their launch day in the UK. I was seriously impressed with the taste of their products – they were sampling the pistachio flavour that day too and I was blown away! I’ve been buying their protein powder since then, they have some cool flavours in their range. I’m tempted to try some of their supplements/vials now though if the boost is that good! Did you try the whey & crispy protein bars? They are my new afternoon snack, so good!
